I am able to provide psychotherapy services online to anyone in the state of Texas. Online psychotherapy is provided through a secure site that you can use on your computer or mobile phone. The application used for online psychotherapy is HIPPA , meaning your privacy and personal health information are protected.

I graduated from the University of Florida in 1996 with a Ph.D. in counseling psychology. I was fortunate to be able to participate in clinical training in a broad range of sites, including counseling centers, a VA substance abuse residential treatment unit and a secure forensic facility. I completed my clinical internship at the University of Missouri-Columbia counseling center, and completed a postdoctoral residency at the Illinois State University counseling center.

My training has afforded me experience with a broad range of presenting issues running the spectrum from adjustment disorders or problems-in-living to severe mental illness including bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

In addition to my outpatient psychotherapy practice, I am a staff psychologist at the psychiatric institution San Antonio State Hospital. Using film as a medium to explore portrays of mental illness and aspects of the human condition is a personal passion of mine. I have contributed film and book reviews to PsycCRITIQUES, a publication of the American Psychological Association.
